Eddie was out of the local scene for a long time, which scared a lot of people, including Ed! I finally got him into the studio with Sergio and the three us started grooving on a harp lick I had written. We laid down a few takes and then picked the one we thought captured the essence of the song ... which was to change our minds about the rhythm we wanted to follow. Truth be told, it wasn’t expected to be on the album but it was such a pleasure playing with them, I changed my mind.
