RELEASED IN CELEBRATION OF THE LEGALIZATION OF MARIJUANA
Gracious, mercy, thank you! Son Roberts presents a gospel-inspired video and track to celebrate joy across Canada... legally.

This gospel track was created years ago by me and one of my musical mentors, Ed Roth. Eddie and I used to smoke a lot of reefer together, so when the legalization of cannabis came up, I saw the opportunity to get the song out into the world. I went back to it and wrote a different ending, with a call and repeat approach for the chorus. Have mercy!

The album track is an all-live version, recorded at the Meatlocker. And if you hang in beyond the song’s ending, you'll hear Gary Kendall say,“Fucking nailed it!” - while my blues brother Dave Sparrow shouts out “Can I get an AMEN?” Then everyone else chimes in. Such a joyful session!
